The Best Event Spaces in Omaha for Any Occasion

Passing milestones is something to be celebrated! Whether a birthday, a graduation, a wedding, staff appreciation event, or fundraising... a festive salute is in order. The first step in planning such an occasion might also be the most difficult; venue selection. With so much to consider such as guest count maximums, venue price, catering, beverage options and so much more, we took the liberty of rounding up some of Omaha’s best event spaces for any occasion to lighten your stressful load.

The Omaha Design Center is a chic, industrial space adorned with lavish chandeliers, modern features and high-end touches throughout. This 24,000-square-foot venue has versatility abounding with flexible layouts and a storehouse of furniture for clients to use. The ever-changing photo backdrops included with the building are sure to have your photographers beaming. The Omaha Design Center is also one of the largest venues in Omaha with a maximum capacity of 1000 cocktail-style guests and 600 seated guests. The owners also offer unique and creative ways to split up the space for smaller events. We love this venue for corporate parties, fundraisers, conferences and social events that really know how to party! We can’t quite put a finger on it, but this venue always puts out an insane night. The custom signature drinks are always flowing, the dance floor is always full, and the memories are unforgettable.

Omaha Design Center is for you if:  you love the modern vibes, have a larger guest count, or need multiple spaces, really love to party

The Empire Room was inspired by the hillside chateaus of France. From the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking Turner Park, to the white crown molding, and the vintage furniture the Empire Room drips opulence. Every corner of this venue is a photo opportunity. It has a working fireplace, a white marble-topped bar, and fabulous chandeliers. Nestled in the heart of Midtown Crossing, with an outdoor patio, this venue is for the grandiose. The Empire Room’s distinct layout creates a unique flow to every event. Our favorite feature is the beautiful bar being so close to the dance floor. That is not something you see in many venues. Usually, the bar is off on its own away from the hubbub. But at the Empire Room, the dancing never stops! This floorplan creates an intimate night, yet the tables are never crowded even at max capacity of 300 guests.

Empire Room is for you if: you love natural light and vintage inspired vibes, need a one stop shop (wedding ceremony, photo opportunities and reception), want to feel like royalty

The Garden Room is a luxurious oasis with vibrant green touches of whimsy. Rich, green, velvet curtains lead the way into the LED lit ballroom, giving exquisite mood lighting to any event. This venue even has a speakeasy! With a hidden hall of mirrors and bistro style furniture, you are quickly transported to the perfect bohemian venue. One of the more intimate venues in Omaha, with a maximum capacity of around 200, your favorite people can attend your ceremony and reception at The Garden Room. Walk through the front doors under a cloud of wisteria, into a cocktail space with a beautiful bar and hedge wall. The amount of included decor at this location is unbeatable, you bring the centerpieces and the rest is included!

The Garden Room is for you if: you prefer a more intimately sized space, are a bohemian lover, want to feel you are outdoors (but there is air conditioning), a venue that feels ‘ready to go’

The Leo Ballroom nods its head to the venue's history with photos from the past down the hallway to the art deco bar with champagne wall and bookcase bar displays. The towering ceilings of the grand ballroom, fully working stage, and decorative Juliette style balconies are sure to amaze the guests of any event.
