Love at The Empire Room
These nature lovers, Rikka and David, were brought together by the cosmos…literally. She knew he was the one while on a date under the nighttime sky. After initially meeting through an online dating app, the two connected on so many levels that their relationship seemed to be written in the stars! Three years later, his genuine and kind heart made her “yes” to his proposal, the easiest decision she had ever made. “He proposed to me at a park while walking through a bird trail.” How romantic!
Engaged. Check.
Rikka recalls that selecting her wedding venue was just as easy, “Being new to the area, I didn’t have any experience with local venues, and The Empire Room’s location right off Turner Park, very quick staff communication, and overwhelmingly positive reviews were what ultimately led me to book! I was so impressed during the tour with how personable and knowledgeable the Event Manager was.”

The happy couple is still seven months out from their big day, and Rikka and David are excited to jump into the deep end with planning! They noted that while working with Omaha Event Group, communication has been the best aspect of the process. Emails are quickly responded to and helpful suggestions from staff are appreciated. The team has made everything “SO comfortable and easy, I feel comfortable and supported.”

When asked if there was anything more we could do to help, “I am only concerned that our wedding day won’t get here soon enough.”
