New Event Consultant in Town!
Omaha Event Group's newest Event Consultant is Katie Urick from the gorgeous countryside of Pennsylvania! There, she helped clients plan their special day at a charming bed and breakfast. While she graduated from Penn State with a degree in hospitality, it was not until her best friend’s wedding in Greece that she knew that the wedding industry was where she wanted to be! Katie recalled, "watching how the wedding planner made the day so beautiful, and she was a lifeline to my best friend all day. It made me want to do that."

“When planning a wedding, there are a lot of moving parts and a lot of people trying to help and input opinions. It is not a bad thing, in fact having a support system throughout the planning process is vital! However, make sure what you want doesn’t get lost in what everyone else wants. If you want to wear a blue dress and eat pizza for dinner, then don’t let someone talk you into wearing white and having prime rib.”
